sophieHi. I’m Sophie, a twenty-something year old professional writer and former Springboard tenant twice over. As of today, I am also pleased to be  the Springboard blogger.

5 years ago, I was new to Springboard, new to London, still twenty-something and probably not all that different to you. Over the last 5 years I have lived in rented accommodation across Barons Court, Hammersmith, Kilburn and in Springboard West Hampstead – twice! I have worked in Marketing, Finance, and Charity Communications across Battersea, Mayfair, Soho, Waterloo and Holborn. I think it’s fair to say that over this time period I have not only more than adequately explored the surrounding areas but also taken advantage of (to put it mildly) the London lifestyle and learnt a thing or two (often the hard way) about being a young professional in this city.

Through the Springboard blog, I hope to use my experience to simplify the city for you, to teach you a little bit more about London life, and to introduce you to new discoveries, as well as keep you up to date with upcoming events. This blog will address common issues experienced when flat-sharing, moving to London and living as a young professional in the city, giving you the opportunity to learn from my (many) mistakes! And, of course, I will be demonstrating how Springboard provides a uniquely affordable, convenient, fun, flexible and hassle-free all inclusive accommodation for young professionals across central London locations.

With that in mind I’ll leave you with this (bear with me, it’s nearly lunchtime):

Q: What do Springboard and apple pie have in common?
A: They are both warm, comforting and a delight to come home to after a hard day at work…

Plus everyone loves apple pie, right? Now, I’m not saying everyone loves Springboard, I’m just saying I’ve never spoken to anyone that doesn’t.
